- Asian Bay is Closed! -

It is with regret that I`ve decided to shut down Asian Bay.

When I originally created the website I thought it might be a good outlet for Asian movie fans to sell their unwanted Asian items to other Asian movie/music fans. Mainly to help people do away with e-bays fees. Unfortunately, it never really took off the way I was hoping, as many people still preferred to advertise through forums or on ebay. A few listed items and had the good fortune to sell a few things, but over all, I don`t think Asian Bay quite attracted the interest in probably should have done.

Asian Bay does get a few hits though, so maybe some people just enjoy browsing. I`m not closing the site down to free up webspace or bandwidth, I have plenty of both. Its mainly because I feel that this site isn`t really going anywhere. I had a lot of plans for Asian Bay, including integration of the Paypal system for easy buying, but with lack of interest, I don`t really feel inclined to make the new changes.

I guess another thing that disheartened me was the amount of forums I tried to promote the site on, only to be rejected as some kind of spammer. Its a free service set up to help people advertise, but many forum moderators didn`t have the brains they were born with. If you are reading this, you know who you are.
